Sharon Scott

Sharon Amanda Scott was born December 1, 1944, in Texarkana, Arkansas to parents Louie and Marciel Mitchell.  It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Sharon on March 22nd, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

Sharon was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. She found joy in music, singing, songwriting, and playing the piano, and had a passion for horticulture; once stating she retired early so, she could have more time to play in her garden.

We can take comfort in knowing she is right where she wants to be, puttering around her garden in Heaven with her husband by her side, singing her praises to Jesus.

Sharon is survived by her children, Robert Ficke and Jennifer (Webb) Foster; grandchildren Kristen Ficke, Tiffany Johns, Laci Franco, Rachel Bloomfield, Trey Alvarado, Kayla (Kem) Foster, Ethan Ifert, Alex Ifert; great grandchildren Kaylee Bjerke, Aaron Bjerke, Asher Tiffen, Austin Boortz, Ashton Johns, Caison Johns, Tony Franco, Kash Franco; great grandchild Carson Gilmore and brother Donald Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Scott; parents Louie Edwin Mitchell Sr and Marciel Eden (Brunner) Mitchell; siblings Louie Edwin Mitchell Jr and Marsha Blackshear.
