Jeanne Germaine (Caron) Albright

Jeanne Germaine (Caron) Albright, 94 years old, of Plano Texas, a devout Catholic, entered her next journey of life on August 21, 2018. She was born March 28, 1924 in East Taunton, Massachusetts to Rosanna and Jean Baptiste Caron.

Jeanne graduated from Commercial High School in New Haven, Connecticut. After graduation she married a Navy sailor Walter Earl Albright. Jeanne was a devoted mother, stenographer and secretary; she retired from the Veteran’s Administration having worked for the Chief of Staff in West Haven, Connecticut. She also worked for the Cardiac and Podiatry Departments in Miami, Florida, where she brightened the lives of Dr Lester, Dr Michael Cohen and Dr Allan Roman and all the medical students with her quick wit and eagerness to assist. Jeanne adored them all.

She always liked a funny joke; loved to dance and listen to snappy music. She was a mother of 8 children, 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Jeanne is survived by her children Walter (Bud) Albright and his wife Carol, Gary Albright and his wife Lily, Jeff Albright and his wife Ivette, Vicki Forden and her husband Ron, Doug Albright and his wife Nanette, Nanette Fresher and her husband Craig, Rob Albright and his wife Vicki, 23 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her twin brother Jean Caron whom she was extremely fond of, her 2 sisters Elaine Durkin and Valada Judd, her awesome son Daniel Albright, beautiful granddaughter Tracy Albright, nieces Shirley Capella, Elaine “Pumpkin” Durkin, nephews Austin Durkin and Thomas “Tommy” Judd.

Memay as she was affectionately known, with her profound faith in God professed kindness and forgiveness throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options. There will be a funeral mass Thursday, August 30, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, Texas 75023 with The Reverend Bruce Bradley officiating.

Jeanne will be laid to rest, with her parents in the St. Bernard Cemetery in New Haven, Connecticut.
