James (Jim) Fair

James Clifford Fair II of Dallas, Texas, age 73, passed away peacefully at home Monday, October 17, 2022. He was born on January 9, 1949, in Hutchinson, Kansas, son of the late James “Cliff” and Martha (Woodall) Fair.

Anyone blessed to have known Jim would be quick to tell you he was “kind-of a big deal.” Known to many as “Big Diamond Jim,” he lived up to his moniker by always being the life of the party with his legendary antics. He loved entertaining friends and family with Chelsea at home, playing poker, and serving up his famous Bloody Mary’s.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife Chelsea; children Kellye Bauer, Tiffany Nolley and her husband Bruce, Brian Fair and his wife Jo, Diane Fair, Whitney Fair and James Fair III and his wife Shannon; sisters Nancy Roelofs and her husband Glenn and Becky Hatch; brother Robert Fair and his wife Louise and 8 grandchildren.

Jim will be greatly missed by all who call him family or friend.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Atlas Point at Prestonwood, 3033 E Hebron Pkwy, Carrollton, Texas.
