Zachary Bryce Meaders

March 18, 2000 — July 23, 2018

Zachary Bryce Meaders was born March 18, 2000 in Plano, Texas to parents John Bryce and Karen Marie (Parmelee) Meaders. Zach went home to be with Jesus on July 23, 2018.

Zach is, and always will be, part of us. He was so many things to each of us: a hero, a friend, an inspiration, an encourager, a jokester.

Zach became a believer at a young age and loved Jesus with all his heart.

Zach loved people. He was quick-witted, funny, and loved to have a good laugh. His laugh – his real, deep laugh - was completely contagious.

He had an old soul and was gentle and tenderhearted. Zach always took time to ask about a sick family member, and often thought of others before himself. He was a great story teller whose stories, true and fictional, kept us laughing.

Zach’s first earthly love was sports and in particular, football. He was an avid Cowboys, Oklahoma Sooners, and Plano Wildcats football fan. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat! He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. Zach had a warrior spirit and admired our military troops. He was also a lover of pretty girls.

Zach had many physical and emotional hurts over the years. He was ready to go home to Jesus. Please rejoice with us that he is finally and truly happy and pain-free. There will never be another person like Zach.

Zach is survived by his parents John and Karen Meaders, twin brother Josh Meaders, paternal grandmother Rita Blanks, maternal grandparents Robert and Judy Parmelee, uncle and aunt Mark and Stefanie Meaders, cousins Wade and Matthew Meaders and many loving additional family members and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Zach on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, 4001 Custer Road, Plano, Texas 75023 with Pastor Jody Mazzola officiating. In honor of Zach, it is the family’s request that everyone wear Dallas Cowboys jerseys, OU attire (no UT), Texas Rangers gear, or Plano Senior High School attire. If you don’t have any of these, please wear bright colors in Zach’s memory.

If desired, the family requests that contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project,
PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517 or 855.448.3997 or support.woundedwarriorproject.org
