Xavier Carpio

September 28, 1979 — September 11, 2023

Xavier was born on September 28th, 1979, in Ecuador to Jaime and Dolores Carpio. He was raised in New York where he learned to be the fighter that he was. He attended Richmond Hill High School where his lifelong passions began to develop.

He moved to Plano, Texas in 2007 where he met his future wife, Adriana. They married in July 2012 where he became a loving father to Cassandra and Phoenix. In September 2013, they welcomed a baby girl, Abigail, whom he adored and loved dearly.

He had many talents, he was an amazing photographer, gamer, drawer, painter and musician. He was a huge football fan who loved the NY Giants and enjoyed watching Saturday night UFC fights. He enjoyed watching films ranging from action, suspense all the way to horror. A couple of his favorite tv shows were Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, House of Dragons and The Last Kingdom.

He was a man of faith, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and phenomenal friend to many. He had a great sense of humor with a beautiful smile that was captivating and had a contagious laugh. He was a man of honor with a kind soul.

Xavier was diagnosed with stage 3 Gastric Cancer in June 2015 and by late 2016 his diagnosis had progressed to stage 4. He endured rigorous chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions and major gastric surgery. This all helped keep the cancer at bay for years until late October 2022.

Xavier was a fighter! He fought in hopes of getting better in order to be able to spend time with his loving daughter Abby. He never gave up hope, never complained, never tired and fought until the very end. His faith kept him strong throughout his long battle with cancer and in the end his faith allowed him to accept God’s will to be done. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

He will be missed immensely, but we find peace in knowing he is resting with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Xavier is survived by his loving wife Adriana Carpio; children Cassandra Barrientez, Phoenix Williams and Abigail Carpio; parents Jaime A and Dolores B Carpio; siblings Marco A Carpio and his wife Nicole, Elizabeth B Carpio; nephews Marco K and Sebastian L Carpio and soon to arrive Xavier Carpio and many loving additional family members and friends.

There will be a funeral service to celebrate Xavier’s life and his new life with Christ at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Allen Family Funeral Options, officiated by Pastor Rudy Flores.
