He was called upon to serve in the United State Army at the age of 24, where he served for two years at Fort Carson, Colorado. Bill had a long, successful career with U.S. Steel Corp, where he worked for 41 years in sales and marketing in Atlanta, Georgia, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Dallas, Texas.
Bill will be remembered for the loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather that he was. He never forgot about his humble beginnings and always contributed to the needs of the disadvantaged and less fortunate. Bill was thankful for God’s saving grace and for those who influenced and helped him on his earthly journey.
