William Hardin Lewis (Bill) was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Martha and Hardy Lewis on December 4, 1954. He passed away peacefully on March 29, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was an incredible son, husband, father, brother, uncle, friend and grandparent. He was always there for great advice and making people laugh with his quick wit, sarcasm and ice breaking jokes. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, and hanging out with family while grilling amazing food. After his retirement, he loved to spend his time out in his garage doing projects, watching his favorite shows, trying out new restaurants and shopping with his wife Penney and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Bill befriended all whose paths he crossed and those who found themselves around him would soon smile or laugh. Simply - he loved people and people loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Penney Lewis of Plano, Texas, son Cory Lewis and wife Rachel of Richardson, Texas, daughters Alicia Wilkins of Plano, Texas, Melanie Fields and husband Russell of Royse City, Texas, grand-daughters Alexa Lewis and Avery Lewis, grandsons Jordan Cano, Ethan Cano, Reece Fields, and Grayson Fields, sister Lonnie Hardin and husband Benny of Conroe, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Butch Lewis.
