William Colbern Hulse

William Colbern Hulse, 81, was born on January 15, 1941 in Illinois on Scott Air Force Base to William Seward and Mary Beverly (Bunny) Hulse.  He went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2022.

He met and married his wife, Rosie, on October 29, 1960.  In 1962 their daughter Cathy was born, followed in 1963 by Bill, Jr.

After a stint in the Air Force the family moved to College Station, Texas where Bill graduated from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.    The family then moved to Plano, Texas in 1977 when Bill accepted a job with E-Systems (now Raytheon).  They were active members of Hunters Glen Baptist Church where Bill served as a deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Volunteer and Choir Member.

He is survived by Rosie Hulse, his wife of 61 years, his son Bill, Jr. (Catherine), his daughter Cathy (Steve) Middleton.  He is further survived by grandchildren, Julina (Rex) Purl, Joshua (Kristin) Hulse, Andy (Kaitlyn) Middleton and Rachel (Jeremy) Barandela.  His great-grandchildren are Kylie Hulse, Connor and Jordan Purl and Evelyn Middleton. His sisters; Beverly Calvo and Robin Anderson.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Anne.
