Warren David Howard

Warren David Howard was born on September 6, 1931, to parents David and Lena Howard. He passed away peacefully on July 14, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Warren was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was always selfless and never wanted much except for the happiness of his family. Warren was born and raised in Marlette, MI. where he farmed for a short time. He then sold cars for many years in Saginaw, MI and eventually ended up in Minnesota selling Mack Trucks. As many would say, he was one of the best salesman in town and he worked up until the age of 72. Warren and his wife Wendy eventually moved to Texas in 2015 to be near their son Hunter, and daughter Amanda and grandchildren Piper and Drake. Warren’s story had many different turns, but through it all, family was at every corner. All will remember Warren as having a gentle soul and would invite anyone to a conversation that wanted to listen. It was often hard to make him smile, but when he did, he would light up a room. Warren is survived by wife Wendy Howard; Son Hunter Howard ; daughter Amanda Stults and husband Jason, Grandchildren, Erin Reichman, Chaya Chavez, Piper and Drake Stults; Great grandchildren, Addie and Isaac Reichman, Elijah and Luna Chavez. Sisters, Lois MacRae and Karen Thomassen. A special mention to daughter in law Jackie Howard. Warren is preceded in death by wife, Donna Howard; Sons, David Howard and Paul Howard, parents: David and Lena Howard, sister Patricia North and brother Karl Howard. A memorial service will be held September 9, 2017 at Marlette Cemetery in Marlette, MI. in lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
