Wanda Lou Mays

Wanda Lou Estep Mays passed away on April 9, 2021 at 99 years old. She was born on September 18, 1921 to J.W. and L'ter Sullivan and grew up on a family farm in Altoga, Texas, the youngest of 8 children. She was the only one in her family to graduate from high school. She married Albert Judd Estep in 1941 and they had two daughters, Charlotte and Mitzi. They moved to Plano in the early 1950s and were active members of First Baptist of Plano. She later attended Prestonwood Baptist Church; but, hasn't attended for many years.

She spent her time traveling around the world through opportunities from Mitzi's job, working on rental properties, attending church, and retelling old travel stories.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Charlotte; granddaughter, Brittany; grandson-in-law, Ed; great-grandsons, Jonathan and Edward and another great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by all of her siblings; daughter, Mitzi who died of a brain tumor; first husband, Judd Estep and her second husband, Elkin Mays.

There will be Visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Allen Family Funeral Options.

Burial will be private.
