Vivian Jenice Bennett

Vivian Jenice Bennett, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Vivian was born on June 26, 1932 and grew up in Donna, Texas. She was the youngest of 5 children of Orby and Ruby Agan. Her senior year she was Homecoming Queen, Twirler for the band and Senior Class Secretary. She graduated from high school and married her high school sweetheart after he joined the Air Force. They were stationed in England for two years where their first child was born.

Vivian lived a very active life and had many interests. She loved to read, sew crewel pictures, enjoyed cooking, tennis, golf, fishing, and loved her Dallas Cowboys. After retirement she and her husband traveled the US in their RV and were able to play golf, fish and enjoy life to its fullest in almost all of the 48 contiguous states.

Vivian is survived by her beloved and very devoted husband of almost 69 years, Dennis Eugene (Buster) Bennett, her daughter Vicki Plinario (Gary), son Kevin Bennett (Martha), and daughter-in-law Brenda Ragusin. She loved her grandchildren Cindy Carnes, Cassandra Garcia (IV), Sarah Price (James), Zachary Plinario (Amanda) and Jacob Bennett (Adrianna). She adored her great grandchildren Taylor Williams, Isaiah Price, Haden Price, Ella Garcia, Ava Garcia, Lucas Plinario, Olivia Price, Scarlet Bennett and Benjamin Plinario.

She was preceded in death by her much loved son Kyle Bennett and grandson Kelly Carnes.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Covenant Church Carrollton located at 2644 E. Trinity Mills Road Carrollton, Texas 75006.

A reception/luncheon will immediately follow the service, also at the church.

At 2:15 PM, there will be a gravesite ceremony at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, Texas 75211.
