It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Victoria Louise Bailey, on October 17, 2024. Vicki was born September 6, 1989, in Burnsville, Minnesota to James W. Woodall and Lori L. (Burris) Woodall, she moved with her family to Carrollton, Texas in 1990 and was raised in Plano from 1996 onward.
A 2008 graduate of Spring Creek Academy, Vicki pursued a life of service. After high school, she joined the U.S. Air Force, where she completed Basic Training and Security Forces Training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. From 2009 to 2011, she was stationed at RAF Mildenhall in England, where her unit earned the Outstanding Unit Award. She also deployed to Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait in 2010. She received an Honorable Discharge in 2011 and returned to Plano, Texas in 2012.
Vicki continued her dedication to public service by attending the Collin County Law Enforcement Academy. In 2013, she was hired as a patrol officer with the Denison Police Department, where she served for 9 years, 6 of those as a Field Training Officer. In 2022, she joined the Rowlett Police Department, continuing her role as a Field Training Officer until her passing.
From an early age, Vicki had a deep love for animals, especially reptiles, and kept numerous pets, including snakes, armadillos, raccoons, and even a wild mallard duck she lovingly hatched from an egg. Her passion for animals was only matched by her love for fitness. She competed in fitness competitions and modeled sportswear, using her physical strength to inspire others.
She was known for her biting sense of humor and generously utilized sarcasm. As a child, she quickly assumed and displayed leadership roles and her fearlessness was a great asset. She was active and headstrong from the beginning. Vicki had a talent for creativity and was artistic and compassionate. A voracious reader, she also enjoyed indulging in watching reality TV and cheesy B horror movies with enthusiasm.
But above all, the center of her world was her two daughters, Vivianna Marie Giovanniello and Evelyn Elizabeth Bailey, whom she lovingly called her "Little Minis." She supported them in every aspect of their lives, encouraging their creativity and enthusiasm for art, music, and sports.
Vicki was greatly loved by her family, friends, and coworkers. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and compassion.
Vicki is survived by her daughters Vivianna and Evelyn; parents James Woodall and Lori Woodall; siblings Robert (Bobby) Woodall and his wife Erin, Daniel (Danny) Woodall, Elizabeth (Beth) Woodall, James (Jimmy) Woodall; nieces and nephews Tommy, Victoria, Theodore and Penelope; paternal grandmother Ruth Nadine Woodall, maternal grandmother Anna Burris and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
