Vannora Lay

Vannora Lay was born October 7, 1983 in Houston,Texas to parents Sokhom Chay and Kim Lay. He was just 38 years old and passed away unexpectedly February 10, 2022. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. He had lived in Carrollton, Texas.

Vannora loved family gatherings, going camping, and fishing. During his spare time he loved to watch anime and chinese movies, to play games, and spend time with his nephews and nieces. Vannora had moved many people with his great humor, kindness, and mild temperament. He was truly a peacemaker and source of positivity. He loved hanging out with his family and friends. Vannora's biggest accomplishment was having a welding certificate.

Vannora is survived by his siblings’ older brother Vannak Lay, sister Vanny Lay, and youngest brother Kevin Lay as well as his extended family and an abundance of friends. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

We will all miss him more than words can say.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 10:00-12:00 noon at Allen Family Funeral Options for a visitation and service.
