A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Allen Family Funeral Options Chapel.

Dad was an amazing person, he was down to earth, smart, a lovable father. I will always thank him for saving my life. He taught us to care for others, as he did too. And in many ways he taught us how to live, laugh and love to the fullest. And always have a positive outlook in life and what it brings us.

A letter to Dad

A husband, a brother, the best friend, a dad and first and foremost and always a hero. Tomas always held his head high even at the most toughest of times.
He loved playing soccer with his family, and was a coach for many years for his son's soccer team. He spread his knowledge, and unconditional love wherever he went. He immediately touched the heart of a certain recently married young woman with wide spread arms, lots of joy, happiness and love whom she would call dad. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle to the fullest with his son while enjoying the thrill of speed and the wind rushing past them.

I will remember you always.

Dad,

You were a father, a guide, a teacher, and most of all a friend.  You taught me many things about friendship, love, and family.  You helped me through my lows and you were there during my highs.  You told me to stay true to myself and always do the right thing.  I love you dad.  Rest in peace.

Tom was kindhearted, always thinking about others.  Tom loved all of us and sacrificed himself to make our lives better. Tom always took care of his patients with love and selflessness. He saved my life and took care of me.  The promise that we made that our love will be beyond eternity was always shown.  Our kids have grown up to be the great example that they are with his wise guidance and teachings.  His deep faith in God was an example that all of us follow.  He truly believed that being in the presence of God was our ultimate goal in our lives, hence his example of passion to help others.  He was an example for me and was passed to his children and surely will be passed to his grandchildren and generations to come.  He was fun and nice.  Relatives would call him “Guero Buena Onda” (Cool Guy), Chumy, and other names that reflected his positive and fun attitude towards life.   His unconditional love will stay with us forever in our hearts. We love you Tom and know that you are in heaven dancing to Mariachi music and smiling upon us.
