Titus Beck Daily was born November 14, 2007, in Frisco, Texas to parents Paul and Becky (Temples) Daily. He passed into Jesus arms on August 29, 2021.
As Titus’ mom, I have anticipated and grieved this day from the moment Titus was born. I began this journey saying to the Lord, “I trust you. You give and take away, blessed be your name.” And at Titus’s passing, as I held him in my arms, I said again, “Lord, I trust you for all of my tomorrows.”
I had the honor of being Titus’s mom and have always wanted to share him with the world so they could see his joy and delight in life. My prayer has been that his little life would bring glory and honor to HIM.
The creator of the universe chose me to be Titus’s mama and I have always treasured that honor and prayed I would steward it well. His five brothers never really allowed him to be the “fragile” one. Titus was part of movie night, trips to the beach, family camp, and always at church with us. He loved the worship services— the louder the better: bring on the drums and trumpets. He could feel the floor just shake.
I think everyone’s goal was to make Titus smile—which wasn’t all that hard. He was pure joy and delight. So many people loved him and cared for him. They loved him with putting their faces up close to his, rubbing his head (which he loved), crafting, and reading Bible stories, taking him swimming, and to the pet store and pumpkin patch. So many of you were willing to break the barrier and enter our crazy world.
Let’s not grieve as those who have no hope for the God of heaven has welcomed Titus home.
Titus is survived by his mother Becky Daily and father Paul Daily; siblings Aidan Daily and his wife Aimee, Noah Daily and his wife Taylor, Tucker Daily, Cade Daily and Grayson Daily; nephew and nieces Ezra, Ellie and Penelope Daily; maternal grandmother Elizabeth Temples; paternal grandmother Lou Daily; aunts and uncles Angela Temples, George Bossman, Patti Gilbert, and her husband Steve; long time, loving caregiver Ada Omah and many loving cousins, friends, and other caregivers.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Titus’s life Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at First Mc Kinney Church, 1615 W. Louisiana Street, McKinney, Texas with Pastor Connor Bales and Rev. Sam Holm officiating.
There will be food and a reception to follow for anyone who wants to stay.
We plan to wear no black but instead colors of celebration and those who know me know it will be a party.
