Thomas James Arrambide

June 25, 1961 — August 26, 2025

Dallas

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Thomas James Arrambide announces his passing on August 26, 2025, too soon from this world, at 64 years old. He was surrounded by all of his beloved girls in Dallas, TX. Now, after a long health battle, Tom has found peace.

Tom was a husband, son, brother, father, friend and a smile waiting to greet you that exceeded any limits of time or distance. His life was marked by love, depth, drive and an unmatched sparkle in his eye to many who knew him.

When he wasn’t leading large teams to new heights in the hospitality industry, you could find Tom bonding with his friends and family over football (a former player himself), auto racing, love for dogs, films, hunting and collecting firearms. When he wasn’t at a race, gun show or sports event, Tom was often found in the heart of his home — the kitchen — making his signature lasagna, ribs or chorizo. He loved sharing his hobbies and passions with his family, especially, and Tom was proud to support his girls’ favorite bands, drivers, teams and schools.

Tom and his wife, Kristin aka “Heimstra” as he loved to call her, shared a love of music and travel together. Many adventures marked the beginnings of their relationship (though they’ve known each other since elementary school). Mostly, they enjoyed the mountains and classic tunes from their childhood together.

Born in El Paso, TX, on June 25, 1961 as the fifth of eight children, Tom’s childhood was full of love and family tradition that has now been passed on as part of his legacy. He is preceded in death by his parents - Paul and Cecilia Arrambide, his brother - Peter Arrambide, his sister - Luci Arrambide along with his paternal and maternal grandparents.

A friend to all, Tom leaves behind a host of those who loved him, including his wife - Kristin Arrambide, daughters - Jennifer Kennedy, Brittany Arrambide, Rachael Espinosa and her husband Justin, grandson - Jacob Kennedy, granddaughters - Charlotte and Adaline Espinosa, stepchildren - Ricky Leigh and William Geisler and siblings - Anna Kosco along with Paul, John, Alex and William Arrambide.

We’ll gather together to celebrate Tom’s life on September 12, 2025, 1:00 p.m., at Custer Road United Methodist Church in Plano, TX, where Tom was a member for 20+ years. Twelve was Tom’s football number, one that represented strength and fortitude to him and many who knew him, so his family felt it befitting to celebrate him on the 12th day of September. A small reception will follow.
