Susan Barrett

S usan Elizabeth Barrett was born October 8, 1959, in Dallas, Texas to parents Jerry Tipton and Shirley (Youngblood) Knight.  She passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021, in Dallas, Texas.

Susan will be forever remembered for her love of white chocolate mocha lattes, all things Christmas, amazing decorating talent, and cookbooks; even though she hated to cook. Susan treasured her time spent with friends and family more than anything else and always knew what to say to brighten someone’s day even in their darkest hour. Susan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Susan is survived by her husband James Barrett; children Sara Robinson, Sam Anderson, and Caroline Anderson; grandchildren Jacob, Carly, Aniston, and Liam, mother Shirley Knight; sister Amy Sargent and her husband Wayne; nephews Tyler and Landon Sargent and last but not least her beloved fur babies Sophie, Dollar, and Richie.  She was preceded in death by her father Jerry Knight and her son Andrew Anderson.
