Gerald Schuyler Page, Jr. affectionally known as “Sky” was born on July 29, 1945, in Port Chester, New York to Gerald S Page, Sr. and Mary Arden (Clarke) Page.

Sky graduated from Mamaroneck High School in 1963 and attended Villanova University as a cadet in their Naval ROTC unit. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1967. He went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps. He fought in Vietnam and was a Purple Heart recipient. Sky was honorably discharged in 1970. Over the years Sky maintained friendships with the men who served alongside him and managed to reconnect with many new friends along the way who served in Vietnam. These connections and friendships meant the world to him.

Sky and Christy McIntire met in 1968 in Queens, New York and were married in Guasti, California in 1969. Christy and Sky lived briefly on the East Coast and ultimately settled in Dallas, Texas in 1975 where they built a family and community of friends together along the way.

Sky’s career spanned 35 years. He was proud of his work as an executive search consultant. His career led him to meet and make countless friends over the years. Throughout his career, he ran his own executive search firm and ultimately finished his career at A.T. Kearney before retiring in 2006.

Sky was involved in business and service organizations over the years and was committed to giving back. He was a member of Leadership Dallas, and the Salesmanship Club of Dallas. He was very involved in raising money for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation which was established to honor the service and sacrifice of Marines and their families. After retirement, Sky traveled to Vietnam and volunteered teaching English to doctors and nurses.

Sky loved his family and friends with fierce loyalty. He was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren. Sky was a devout Catholic and a voracious reader. He loved to laugh and one of his many famous quotes was, “Never let the truth get in the way of a good story”. He was the life of the party and there are endless stories of his antics over the years. He loved fast cars and loud Harley Davidsons and was happiest driving with the wind in his hair.  His patriotism and love of country defined him. Semper Fi - Always Faithful.

Sky is survived by his wife Christy, his son Tim, his daughter Amanda and his granddaughters, Ella, Clara and Annabel. He also leaves behind his brother Tracy and his wife Donna and their daughters Kate, Courtney and Christine.

Memorial donations may be made to The Momentous Institute established by the Salesmanship Club of Dallas dedicated to innovative mental health services, education and professional training to strengthen children, families and communities. https://momentousinstitute.org/
