Shannon Kay Miller

Shannon Kay Miller was born July 12, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Carl Louis and Chlo (Smith) Miller. She passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2018 in Plano, Texas.

Shannon was a graduate of The University of Kansas and was a Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs fan. She loved birthdays and holidays and will be remembered for her infectious energy and perfect smile. Shannon never met a stranger and was a friend to all.

She was an avid marathon runner and cyclist and enjoyed traveling at every opportunity. Shannon enjoyed a successful 25 year plus career in sales and event coordination with AT&T, EDS and Hewlett Packard.

She met her soul mate, Jean-Patrick in 2010 and their love for each other was true and strong. She was a devoted daughter and always adored her big brother Shane and her niece and nephews said she was the “best aunt ever”!

Shannon is survived by her parents Carl and Chlo Miller, brother Shane Miller, nephews and niece Chance, Carlee and Caden Miller, sister in law Stephanie Miller and her soul mate Jean-Patrick Bonny (J.P.) and many loving extended family and friends.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Shannon’s life will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Bent Tree Fellowship, 4141 International Pkwy, Carrollton, Texas 75007 with Pastor Jon Jobe officiating.
