Schuylar (Sky) Marie Montelongo

Schuylar (Sky) Marie Montelongo was born on October 8, 2001, in Dallas, Texas to parents Juan Antonio and Rebecca (Montolongo) Reveles.

Schuylar loved her sisters very much.  They had a bond that words cannot explain.  We had a group message and everyday there would be playful banter with one another.  She loved playing volleyball and played full court setter for the Panthers.

Schuylar had some amazing friends who were more like family.  They would all sneak into the house to spend time with her and make so much noise.  Her parents would hear them and just laugh because they could hear her giggles from falling while jumping on a ball or play fighting with her friends.  Sky’s middle finger was famous around town. Whether she was posing for a picture or just hanging out, that finger always came up.  She graduated high school in 2020 and planned to go to college.

Schuylar was a beautiful girl with a big heart.  She loved her dad so much.  She was such a daddy’s girl when she was a baby.  The energy she carried around with her was so strong that her sisters and friends always wanted to be around her.  Schuylar had a way of getting what she wanted from her mom as well.  She would start by saying, “Soooo….” and that’s all it took.  Even if the answer was going to be no, she would end up getting what she wanted.  She protected her sisters no matter what.  They meant so much to her and she meant the world to them.

Schuylar is survived by her parents Juan and Rebecca Reveles; sisters Serenity Montelongo, Stormi Montelongo, Alyssa Clark and Saige Reveles; nephew and niece Salem Reveles-Montolongo and Lili Clark; parental grandmother Maria Reveles, maternal grandparents Rene and Sylvia Montelongo; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Sunday, August 29, 2021, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options.  There will be a funeral to celebrate Schuylar’s life Monday, August 30, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Rd, Plano, Texas with Rev. Tim Morrison officiating.
