Sabrina Marie Zugermayr

January 25, 1970 — August 24, 2022

Sabrina Marie Zugermayr was born on January 25, 1970, in Palatka, Florida to parents David and Jean (Wright) Todd. She passed away August 24, 2022, after a strenuous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Sabrina graduated from Father Ryan High School, Nashville, Tennessee and from Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science. She later graduated from both Collin Community College and Western Governor’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Sabrina found her love of nursing both as a cardiac nurse and as a mentor/educator to nurses just starting their careers. She was employed by Life Care Hospital, Plano, Texas as a nurse educator, and Reward Staffing as a staff nurse and later as a Reward Staff nurse manager for Baylor Scott and White, Plano, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Jochen Karl Zugermayr; daughters, Chloe Grace and Isabella Faith Bailey; grandsons, Elias James Perez, and Gabriel Nathan Villagomez, Jr (Junior); mother, Jean Todd; sisters, Shane Jenkins and her husband Sam, Kaiya Levine, and Ilaine Newby and her husband Geno; brother, David Todd and his wife Sandra; nephews Trevor Jenkins and his wife Dina, Kirtland Jenkins and his wife Sophie; Trace Jenkins and his wife Avery; Charles Todd; and niece, Lindsay Todd.  She was preceded in death by her father, David Michael Todd; her maternal grandparents, Malcolm and Virgilla Wright; her paternal grandparents, Stanley and Harriett Todd; and her nephew, Stephen Jenkins.

A celebration of Sabrina’s life will be held Friday, September 2, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options with Rev. Mike Flynn and Chaplain Janet Scheible officiating. A reception will follow. If you wish to join the service via webcast, please visit:
