Roy Terry Lenning was born April 18, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to parents Sherman Roy and Lela Mae (Embree) Lenning. Roy passed away October 28, 2018 In Richardson, Texas.
Roy was a very quiet, humble man who loved the Lord first in all things. He was a hardworking, very professional individual that always held a business-related career. Roy has lived and worked in the Dallas area since the 1980s after receiving his bachelor’s degree at University of Texas in 1979. Roy was very smart and was truly successful wherever he worked and was able to retire early in the last couple of years.
Although Roy’s work was very important to him, he was very close with his family, especially his mom. Roy also had a very close companion, his puppy, Gracie Mae. Roy loved his church family at Hunter’s Glen Baptist Church. He volunteered in the community and was involved with the Meals on Wheels program. Roy was truly a gentle, loving, selfless man that would sacrifice any need or want he had to serve and love others, and to please the Lord.
