Roselyn Turner Hulse

Roselyn Turner Hulse, 89, was born on October 22, 1935, in McComb Mississippi. She went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

She attended and graduated from McComb High School in Mississippi. Afterwards she went on to attend Blue Mountain College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1956. She also did post-graduate studies at the University of Mississippi.

While working at a Detroit area hospital she returned home for a vacation to Gulf Port Mississippi, where she met William (Bill) Hulse. They were married October 29, 1960, at First Baptist Church McComb and were married for 61 years. While stationed at the Air Force base in Port Angeles, Washington, the couple welcomed their first child, Beverly Catherine (Cathy) and William, Jr. (Bill).

Bill and family went to Texas A & M on the GI Bill where Rosie worked at the Vet School on campus. Eventually upon graduation with a master’s degree in 1977 they moved to Plano, Texas.

Rosie worked at the Richardson Medical Center as a Lab Technician for many years. While at the same time indulging a passion for Bible Study Fellowship where she made many life-long friends. Additionally, she loved and was active in her home Church of Hunters Glen Baptist in Plano. She served in many capacities including as a teacher in ladies Bible Study for over 40 years.

She leaves behind 2 children, Cathy (Steve) Middleton, William, Jr (Catherine, deceased), grandchildren Andrew (Kaitlyn) Middleton, Rachel (Jeremy) Middleton Barandela, Julina Nicole (Rex) Purl, Joshua (Kristin) Hulse, great-grandchildren Evenly Jean Middleton, Lucille Virginia Middleton, Kylie Hulse, Josh and Connor Purl, Rosie Hulse (Joshua).

Additionally, there are many beloved friends, and family members who will miss her greatly.

Private services will be held at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.

Gifts in lieu of flowers can be made to Hunters Glen Baptist Church Imagine Initiative.

The family will miss our beloved mom, and Nana. She was a credit to our family and Heaven is a brighter place because of her.
