Robin Fair passed peacefully on February 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Robin was born to L.D. “Bob” and Jean Roberts on June 30, 1958 and raised in Oklahoma City alongside her twin brother, Bobby, and her sister, Linda. She graduated from Putnam City High School in 1976. She moved to Dallas in 1977 and began her career at EDS where she met her first husband Gipp DuPree. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Anna and Heather. During this time Robin’s hobbies included baking, fostering countless dogs and cats and many quilting and sewing projects, including handmaking all of the girls’ dresses.
Robin’s life grew even fuller when she married David Fair. By bringing together their amazing families, they found great joy in raising their children and embracing the busy rhythms of family life. Robin thrived while running a full household with four young kids, two Great Danes, and an ever-changing number of cats. She took on the role of interior designer for Hexter-Fair Title Company and excelled in it. Together, she and David embraced a life of travel, built lasting memories at their Dana Point home, and watched their children grow into adulthood. It came as no surprise to those who knew her that Robin was a devoted and loving caregiver to David until his passing in 2018.
Later in life, Robin excelled in her real estate career with Ebby Halliday, where her infectious personality, genuine warmth, and unforgettable smile made her a natural fit. Real estate came easily to her, and she formed lasting friendships with countless clients along the way. In 2022, Robin met Mike Kirlin, and the two fell in love at the rodeo, beginning a joyful new chapter together. Robin encouraged Mike to pursue his love of flying, and the skies soon became one of their favorite places to spend time together. She could often be found in the air with her private pilot, Mike—never one to sit still, crocheting onboard the plane. Whether flying or on the ground, they chased adventure and enjoyed traveling together.
Of all the roles Robin held in her life, none meant more to her than being “Granny.” She took that title to heart and poured herself into her grandchildren, spending countless hours making memories together. They shared travel adventures, sleepovers, crafting and baking projects, music, and regular trips to the foot spa—time filled with laughter, creativity, and love. To her grandchildren, Granny was a source of joy, comfort, and endless fun, and her presence in their lives was a gift they will always cherish. Robin was a lifelong animal lover who found great joy in rescuing dogs and had a special place in her heart for Carolina dogs. She also loved spending time fishing, playing mahjong, and laughing with friends.
Robin will be remembered for her radiant smile, contagious laugh, and generous heart. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and loyal friend. Steadfast, selfless, and endlessly caring, Robin had a quiet strength and was always the one who showed up and took care of others. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, the love she gave so freely, and the family and friends who will carry her spirit forward.
Robin is survived by her husband, Mike Kirlin; his two children and their spouses, along with eight grandchildren; her daughters, Heather Goodrich and her husband, Matt Goodrich, and their daughters, Caroline, Lily, and Madison; and Anna Browning and her children, Beau and Reese. She is also survived by her brother, Bobby Roberts; her stepchildren, Ellen Terrell and her husband, Charlie Terrell, and their children, Ryan, Charlie, and Will; Britt Fair and his wife, Sue Fair, and their children, Jackson, Olivia, and Victoria; Logan Fair and his partner, Becca Mapes; Grayson Fair; and many adoring friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Fair; her father, L.D. “Bob” Roberts; her mother, Jean Roberts; and her sister, Linda Smith.
