Robert Solimando

Robert (Bob) J. Solimando of Plano, Texas passed peacefully from this earth on the afternoon of Monday, October 23, 2023.  He was born on September 28, 1947 in Bronx, New York.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lauren (Mirabella) Solimando, siblings, Anthony Solimando and Linda (Solimando) Lizak, daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Vincent Witt, son Robert and daughter-in-law Jana (Duke) Solimando, and grandchildren Trace, Sabrina, McKenna, Piper, and Landon, as well as three nieces and a nephew.

Bob lived a very creative life, sculpting, leather-crafting, and designing kitchens and bathrooms, which he continued to do until his death.  The family will greet friends at a come-and-go, casual gathering on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Allen Family Funeral Options.

Final burial will be in Flushing, New York next spring at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, where per his wish, he will be laid to rest with his parents.
