Rebecca Sue Dyson

Rebecca (Becky) Sue Dyson, 75, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2025. She was born on August 25, 1950, in Paducah Texas, to parents Gene and Sue Gibbs.

Becky had a very colorful and varied work history including a wallpaper hanging business, dog groomer and breeder, realtor and foster parent.

Becky can best be described as adventurous, fun-loving, compassionate and generous. She loved dancing, reading, and horseback riding with daughter Jamie in her younger years.

A special thank you to caregivers Deanna Monbeck, Dorene Whatley and Kim Peyton for their support and kindness.

She is survived by her four children Chris Day, Anna Marie Day, Jesse Day and Katie Day, all residing in Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Colton, Sophi, Emma and Ollie, her mother Sue Gibbs of Fort Worth, brother Gary Gibbs of Clovis, New Mexico and sister Regena Page of Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jamie Dorman and father Gene Gibbs.
