Pierce Thomas Johnson

Pierce Thomas Johnson was born March 22, 1995 in Plano, Texas. He passed away April 27, 2019. Pierce was raised by parents, Carmen and Steve Sartor, and father, Craig Johnson. He attended Plano ISD schools and graduated from Ozarks Teen Challenge Academy in 2012. He also studied Bible/Theology at Emerging Leaders College in Jesup, Georgia and studied Business at Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, Missouri.

Pierce was known for his huge, compassionate heart toward family, friends, animals, and his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed participating in Awanas and Boy Scouts. Being a talented athlete, Pierce enjoyed playing football and basketball. He was an avid Cowboys and Mavericks fan.

Pierce loved the Lord and had a great knowledge of the Bible. His faith led him to minister to others. He went on a mission trip to Haiti and several domestic outreach trips to Georgia and California to share his testimony.

Pierce is survived by his wife Reagan Townsend Johnson; daughter Nessa Elizabeth Johnson; parents Carmen and Steve Sartor; maternal grandmother Priscilla Moore; siblings Grant Johnson and his wife Becky, Anna Crews and her husband Tate, Lauren Williams and her husband Bryan, Katie Sartor, Jeffrey Sartor, and Andrew Sartor; nieces and nephews Isabella and Preston Crews, Eli and Cole Williams, Caleb Sartor and William Johnson, uncle Blake Johnson and his wife Terri; cousin Taylor Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father Craig Johnson, paternal grandparents Donald and Gailya Johnson, maternal grandfather Norman Moore.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Friday, May 3, 2019 from 6:30-8:00 P.M. at Christian World Church, 891 Abrams Road, Richardson, Texas. A memorial service to celebrate Pierce’s life will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. also at the church.
