Paul Ger

Paul Ger was born on September 12, 1934, in New York City (the Bronx – with a quick relocation to the noble and notable streets of Brooklyn), to the late Charles Ger and Ida Drucker. Paul departed this life on the evening of Yom Kippur, October 4, 2022.

Following his military service in Colorado, the majority of Paul’s professional life was spent serving in the key role of Electronic Technician for the U.S. Postal Service in NYC and New Jersey. His final twenty-four years were spent in retirement, gardening with avid passion and enjoying his beloved grandson here in Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Arlene, his sister, Eleanor Murdza and his brother, Philip Ger.

Paul is survived by his son, Steven Charles Ger, daughter-in-law, Adria Lauren Ger, grandson, Jonathan Gabriel Ger and second wife, Jean Popnoe Ger.

A Memorial service is scheduled for 12:00PM Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Beth Sar Shalom (Freedom Church main sanctuary) with lunch reception afterward, followed by a 2:15PM graveside service at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
