Paul J Cadaret was born 10/13/43 to George John Cadaret and Kathryn Frances Murphy Cadaret on 113 Winfield Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was a devout Catholic serving as a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 12153 (4 th degree) and the Over 60 Club at his home church St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas.
Paul attended St. Peter’s Catholic grammar school, St. John’s Preparatory high school and graduated from Worcester State University with a BS in Education. In February of 1964 he met his lovely wife and best friend Jeannine. He proposed just four months after their first date and they were married five short months later on November 22, 1964. For nearly 57 years their marriage was a shining example of true love and faithful commitment to one another.
Paul spent his working career in both the Insurance industry and with several law firms. From 1965-1990 he worked in Claims for Sentry Insurance and Crum and Foster. Then from 1990 until his retirement in 2005 Paul worked as Business Manager for Martin, Farr, Miller and Grau Law firm, Grau & Bassett, and Grau & Koen.
In 1980 Paul and Family moved to Texas from Massachusetts and he quickly became a fan of country music, the Dallas Cowboys and Corona beer. He was the ultimate party host, welcoming anyone to watch Cowboy games in his garage man cave. He enjoyed watching all sports, viewing his grandkids various activities and as he put it in his own draft obituary, “an occasional beer and cigar with friends”.
Paul was a member of the Republican National Committee, the Cardinal Newman Society and a lifelong member of the Clinton Massachusetts Lodge of Elks.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Jeannine Cadaret and their children, daughter Nicole Lemieux (husband Richard), son Paul Cadaret, Jr. (wife Sheryl), son Steve Cadaret and daughter Danielle Pitts. He is also survived by his sister Kathy Perry (husband Charlie), 9 grandkids; Colby Lemieux, Natalie Lemieux, Alexis Cadaret, Brittney Williamson, Madison Cadaret, Alyssa Cadaret, Carson Cadaret, Weston Pitts, Sierra Pitts and two great grandkids Jack and Oliver Williamson.
