Patrick (Pat) Alan Messick

Patrick Alan Messick passed away Thursday June 10, 2021, at his home in Plano, Texas.

He was a graduate of Huntingdon College and received his master’s degree from Southern Methodist University.  He was Director of Music Ministries at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas for many years.

Pat was loved by all who knew him; especially his Texas family ~ The Mike Randall family.  Mike and Lynne who preceded him in death and their surviving children Stephanie, Alan, Jordan, Robyn, and Charlie.

Pat is survived by his father James Thomas Messick (Dot) of Montgomery, Alabama; two sisters Sheri Messick Todd and her husband Todd and Angie Messick Newman and her husband Roy, both of Auburn, Alabama; niece Adrienne Todd Craig and her husband Corey; nephew Payne Newman and two great nieces Peyton and Piper Craig.  He is preceded in death by his mother Juanita Cox Messick.

God blessed him with the gift of music and he used this gift to bless others.

The family will hold a private service and Pat will be laid to rest with his mother in Alabama.
