Patricia "Pattie" Jean Delin

Pattie was a beloved wife to Steve for 33 years, was a mother to Wes and Brandon, and a faithful friend
to countless others. She was born on November 17, 1962, in Brookville, PA, to Ralph and Jeannetta Calvert.
After graduating High School in Williamsport, PA, she went on to Shippensburg State University where she
was a cheerleader.

After graduation, she followed her retired parents to Orlando, FL where she met the love of her life,
Steve. After dating for 6 months, Pattie and Steve got engaged, then married on May 28, 1988. In 1989, they
moved to Dallas Ft Worth. Three years later in 1992, they had their first son, Wes. Three years after that in
1995, their second son, Brandon, was born. Pattie worked at State Farm her entire career in DFW for 33
years, joyfully retiring in 2017.

Some of Pattie’s favorite things to do were spend time with her family and many friends. She enjoyed
a glass of chardonnay, working out and doing Pilates, raising her black lab, Rocky, who became like a third
son after Wes and Brandon left the home. She and Steve loved to take numerous vacations to the beach, her
favorite being Maui.

She was known and loved by family and friends as Aunt Pattie, the highlight of every social gathering,
including occasionally busting out the “splits” as a dance move. Her friends and family looked forward to
seeing her at every opportunity, always anticipating her smile and personality would light up the room.

Her best quality though was her selflessness. Whether it was volunteering at Hope Store, taking
tremendous daily care of her 98-year-old mom, or something as simply thoughtful as making sure no relative
had a birthday pass without receiving a card from her, she consistently demonstrated Christ’s self-giving love
by laying her needs, desires, and wants down for the sake of others.

Pattie was preceded in death by her father Ralph in 2018. She is survived by her husband, Steve, her two
sons, Wesley and Brandon, her mother Jeannetta, her black lab, Rocky, her brother Dave Calvert and his
wife Jody, and her brother Alan Calvert and his wife Elisabeth. Her extended family, John Delin and his wife
Diana, and Karen Womack and her husband Tim, were as much family to her as anyone else. Pattie also had
a daughter-like bond with her nieces, Mindy and Christy.

Pattie is going to be dearly missed. Countless family members and friends are sure to have heart-aching
moments as we move through the journey of life wishing she were here. We know she is in Heaven with
her dad and her Heavenly Father guiding, protecting, and loving us in Spirit, just like she did for so many
decades, as she starts her time with Jesus for eternity. We can not wait to see her again.
