Pamela Rae Cerny was born on February 11, 1968 in Artesia, New Mexico to parents Bob and Mary Lynn Cerny. She graduated from high school in 1986 after studying abroad in Holland for her senior year. Pam earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico and her master’s degree from Texas Tech.
Pam had a traveler’s heart and wanted to explore as much of the world as she could.
She loved Italy, specifically the Tuscany region and Florence and dreamed of moving there to buy a farmhouse with an olive tree so she could make her own olive oil.
She was fiercely competitive and always strived to be the best at EVERYTHING. Pam
worked in her dream job at the Federal Reserve Bank and was AAP and recently became CTP certified. While she claimed to hate kids, she absolutely loved being a mom, taking great pride in her daughter’s musical accomplishments. She loved her fur babies, Rascal and Milo more than anything. She enjoyed gardening, and it was her absolute favorite hobby. Her favorite flowers were tulips.
Pam left this world much too soon and leaves behind her daughter Paige, her brother Christopher, his wife and their children, and her mother Mary Lynn.
A memorial service to celebrate Pam’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11:00 am at Allen Family Funeral Options.
The family respectfully requests, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Pam’s memory to the SPCA of Texas, www.spca.org or SPCA of Texas, Attn: Development, 2400 Lone Star Dr., Dallas, Texas 75212 or by phone at (214)461-1828.
