Olga Fey Fabian, known to all as Fey, passed away on May 8, 2020 in McKinney, Texas. She was born to Herbert and Lyla (Long) Leesch in San Antonio, Texas, on March 25, 1931.
Fey had a successful career in executive administration and maintained a top security clearance while working for a major U.S. Department of Defense contractor in Las Vegas, Nevada. She later opened her own business as an interior designer in Southern Utah. Fey enjoyed golf, snow skiing, pampering her tabbies, and driving her 1982 Corvette.
After retiring, she returned to her native Texas and was fond of sharing that it was also home to several generations of ancestors. Fey will be dearly missed by her family and friends, who knew her as kind and generous. She was most recently an attendee at Chase Oaks Church in Plano.
Fey is preceded in death by her daughter, Sherrie Fabian, and her brother, Timothy Diderich. She is survived by her son, Lane Fabian and his wife Carla, her granddaughter Angela Mauck and husband Justin, and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
