Norma Gill

Norma Jean Gill passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 93.  She was born on August 30, 1926, in Massillion, Ohio, to S. Earl and Bernice Ackley.  Norma was the youngest of three children.  After graduating from Massillion High School and Denison University, she attended Ohio State University to pursue her Master’s Degree.  She married Emery Gill on June 14, 1952.  He preceded her in death on April 20, 2000, at the age of 73.

Norma is survived by her son, David Gill, and his wife Karen, of Richardson; her daughter Paula Mathison, of Plano; two granddaughters, Claire and Kelly Mathison, both of Dallas and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Allen Family Funeral Options.  A reception/visitation will precede the service beginning at 12:30 pm.
