Nancy F Sanderson was born October 5, 1937, in Tuxedo, New York to parents Frank A and Muriel W (Bradford) Forester. She passed away May 8, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.

Nancy had one brother named Jay B Forester and graduated from F.D. Roosevelt High School. She began her employment as a secretary at IBM in Poughkeepsie, New York. She also married Robert A Sanderson on June 15, 1957, in Poughkeepsie.

Nancy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She cherished these roles with all her heart. She was a woman of deep Christian faith and was actively involved in their home church activities throughout the years.

Her greatest joy was her family, followed closely by her love of travel. She enjoyed the Ski Club in New York and loved gardening, quilting and camping.

Nancy welcomed everyone with a warm smile and open arms. She will be deeply missed at every family gathering and remembered daily with love and gratitude.

Nancy is survived by her children Brenda J Burke and husband Kelly of Boise, Idaho, Robin A Barnes and husband Brian of Dallas, Texas, Donald J Sanderson of McKinney, Texas and Jeffrey D Sanderson of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren Kelly L Canfield and husband Daniel of Boise, Idaho, James E Means and wife Brittany of Seaford, Delaware, Sarah B George and husband Dan of New York, New York and Reid B Barnes of Dallas, Texas; great grandchildren Lucas A Means, Ezekiel E Canfield, Emma G Canfield, Caydance B Means, Embrey J Means, Junipyr L Means. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert A Sanderson, parents Frank and Muriel Forester and brother Jay Forester.

There will be a celebration of Nancy’s life at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Allen Family Funeral Options.
