Minh Tha To was born June 2, 1958 in Vietnam to parents Chum and Saray (Thach) To.

My mother always had a way of bringing us together. In my case, she knew food always brought me back to her. She filled everyone's heart as a friend, sister, daughter, wife and I am truly blessed to have had her fill my heart as a mother. As the song goes, “Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a Wretch like Me;” not only did my mother give me life, she also saved my life. In my mother's absence, neither oceans nor hurricanes could stop this family from coming together. Amongst the Stars, she is a force to be reckoned with.  Heaven, open your gates, I hope you're ready for her. Her presence will be missed by all forms of life on Earth, especially her aloe Vera plants.  I love you, Mom.  To the moon and back. – Vy Le

We’ve shared many memories together through the hard times. In Thailand, 1985, we were Refugees.  Times were difficult while in the refugee camps, but my sister always knew that we would get through it, somehow.  And we did.  Her support helped me tremendously and I will never forget her.  For as long as I can remember, she’s finding ways to help our family members, in Cambodia and Vietnam, get through the difficult times.  Now, all of a sudden, she’s gone.  This is a big shock.  Our family will never forget her.  May she rest in peace.  God bless my sister, Minh Tha To.  - Vuong To

Words cannot describe the emotions that I’m feeling right now. She had a big heart that understands and empathized with everyone around her. Min Tha was such a wonderful aunt with a beautiful smile.  She always cared for others before herself.  Thank you for all you have done for my family and me.  You were the backbone of our family and will be missed dearly. Minh Tha is survived by her husband Thomas Mullen, son Vy Le, mother Saray Thach, siblings Vuong To, Thi Phung To, Vu To, Soma Ly To, Som Bo To, Thanh Chan To, My Dung To, mother and father in law James and Darlene Mullen, sisters and brothers in laws Susan Kirch and her husband Tony, Kari Scott and her husband Kibby and their son Steve and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Chum To.
