With profound love and gratitude, we remember the remarkable life of Michelle Lei Cunningham, who left this earth for her heavenly home on April 24, 2026. She was 51 years old.

Michelle met the love of her life and beloved husband, Tim Cunningham, at the age of 17 and over the next 34 years they were inseparable. They were more than just husband and wife; they were soulmates.

Her greatest passion was her family and the extraordinary capacity to care for others. She was the fierce and loving heart of her household, pouring her soul into raising her three children. Her devotion extended to the entire community where she was a constant, supportive presence in the schools and activities ensuring every child in her life felt seen and celebrated.

She was the "Queen of Holidays" and believed in the power of gathering as her home was a sanctuary for her large, extended family. While she hosted every holiday with grace and enthusiasm, Halloween was her masterpiece. For Michelle, a full house was a full heart.

Some of their happiest moments were spent at the beach relentlessly looking for shark teeth, cooking a meal that brought everyone together, finding the perfect gift no one thought they needed, and “competing” in games with the family and friends.

Michelle is survived by her husband Tim Cunningham; her amazing children Cole (23), Mia (20), and Kate (18); parents Judy and Bob Darrow and Thomas Kaluza; siblings Jennifer (Peter), Rachel (Matt) and Brian (Emily); mother-in-law Janice Janvey (Ralph); brother-in-law Kevin (Leslie); sister-in-law Aimee (Jake); 12 beautiful nieces and nephews.

There will be an Evening of Remembrance to celebrate Michelle’s life from 5-7:00 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2026, at Allen Family Funeral Options.
