Michael Ross Wallace

Michael Ross Wallace, 63, of Plano went to be with our heavenly Father on March 6, 2019.  He was born to Donald and Gwen Wallace on December 26, 1955 in Hico, Texas.  He grew up in Hamilton, Texas.  He married Khanh Duong on July 20, 2005 in Vietnam.

Michael had a deep love for the Lord, and was passionate about God’s Word and what it meant for us as believers today – ready to discuss it with anyone, anytime.  He was inspired by spiritual leaders like TD Jakes and Joseph Prince, and enjoyed worshiping God while listening to Christian music.  His devotion to God and His Word were foundational to his identity.  He was a mentor and leader to many.  His strong faith and beliefs laid a solid foundation that has bonded his children together.

Michael spent his career in telecommunications.  He spent eight years working overseas in telecommunications.  He worked for the last five years for the City of Garland.  He was a hard worker and wanted to make sure he provided for the ones he loved.  He enjoyed sports and other activities with his children.

He was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad.  He is survived by his wife, Khanh and his eight beautiful children: Monica Andrews and husband Billy of Stephenville, Misty Gann and husband Mike of San Antonio, Michelle Neal and husband Chris of Stephenville, Bradley Wallace of Stephenville, Marissa Olvera and husband Manuel of Stephenville, Malachi, Matthew, and Mikayla of Plano; nine grandchildren: Bryce and Jeremiah Andrews, Jake Gann, Elijah and Gabriel Neal, Kasidee Wallace, Alleigh, Zephaniah, and Judah Olvera; brothers Donnie Wallace of Euless, and Larry Wallace of Rowlett and sisters Jessica Huxen of Stephenville and Missy Wallace of Dublin.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Allen Family Funeral Options Chapel with Pastor Josh Carroll officiating.  A reception will follow.
