Mary Rogene Steinkirchner

Mary Rogene Steinkirchner was born on December 23, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas State University. She married Kenneth Kay Steinkirchner on April 19, 1952 and he preceded her in death on February 3, 2017.

Mary lived a great life, raising her family throughout the states of Florida, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and Texas. They also enjoyed extensive world travels during and after Ken's career. Mary loved card games, crosswords, movies and popcorn, shopping in the malls and on QVC. She was dedicated, loving and devoted to her family and friends.

Mary quietly passed from this life on November 16, 2019 in Tucson, Arizona. She is survived by her twin sons Robert and his wife Shujun and Richard and his wife Carol, daughter Karen and her husband Rick, son Jim and his wife Leanne and son Tom. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W. Spring Creek Pkwy., Plano, Texas 75023. Following the mass, Mary will be laid to rest in the columbarium at St. Elizabeth, next to her husband Ken.
