Mary Reidling

Mary Margaret Lincecum Reidling was born on May 27, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas.  On October 10, 2023, she died peacefully surrounded by her family.

Mary is survived by her children: Derek and wife Becky Reidling, Amy Reidling, David and wife Valerie Reidling, and Christian Reidling; grandchildren: Coleman Reidling and wife Louise, Samuel, Gretchen, and Audrey Reidling, and her great-grandchild, Henry Reidling, son of Coleman and Louise Reidling.  She is also survived by her sister, Martha Lincecum Willis, and nephews, James and wife Melissa Ling and Andrew Ling and wife Angie Stewart, along with many great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mary's love for life and her love for her family were unparalleled. Her family was her greatest achievement, and her children were her most precious treasure.

Mary, preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Henry Reidling, and her parents, Joseph Lachaon (Bill) and Edna Merle Lincecum. She was a proud member of the Baptist church.

Mary embraced the world through travel, embarking on three memorable trips to Europe and visiting all the continental states, Canada and Mexico.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, sewing and needlework.

Her family lovingly remembers her as a true Texas lady and her spirit will endure in the lives of those she touched.

A celebration of Mary's vibrant life will be held at Allen Family Funeral Options in Plano, Texas on Saturday, October 21, at 2:00 pm, preceded by a viewing at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow the service, offering an opportunity to honor Mary's remarkable life. The service will be officiated by Mary’s family. Interment will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
