Mary Gwynne Forrest

December 20, 1935 — March 10, 2021

Mary Gwynne Forrest, 85, of Plano, Texas, went to be with our Lord peacefully on Wednesday March 10, 2021. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.

Mary was born on December 20, 1935 to parents Gwynne and Marrietta Hill of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from Classen High School and later attended Oklahoma City University.

Mary wed Jon V. Forrest, also of Oklahoma City and moved to Dallas, Texas in 1967 where they raised there three children: James (Jim), Jon Robert (Bob) and Kimberly Rene (Kim) .

She was a long time member of Prestonwood Baptist Church where she frequently helped in the production of the church's annual Christmas programs.

Mary was full of kindness and love of her children, grandchild and neighboring families who all new her as "MoMo".

Mary is survived by her children, James Forrest and wife Barbara Forrest, granddaughter Kristin Forrest, Bob Forrest and partner Mark Nall and Kimberly Gatlin, brother John Hill and sister Nancy Jayne. Along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Leigh Hill.

She will be greatly missed but will live on forever in our hearts and memories.

There will be a grave side service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmond, Oklahoma on Monday March 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
