Martha Phagan Womack

Martha Phagan Womack was born April 27, 1927 in Fayetteville, Tennessee to the late Edward and Bonnie Phagan. She was raised on a farm in Tennessee with her older brother James and her younger sister Mary Helen.

Martha married Bryan Womack February 22, 1948. She worked at the phone company when they got married. When the family moved to Nashville, Tennessee she started working for INA-Insurance Co. of North America until she retired in 1994.

After retiring, they chose to move to Frisco, Texas to be closer to family and to enjoy their grandchildren; which were the loves of their lives.
Martha worked in the boutique department of Stein Mart and enjoyed and made life-long friends. She also enjoyed reading, playing bridge, cooking, gardening and decorating her home.

Her husband, Bryan passed on May 27, 2013 and Martha then moved to The Waterford in Plano, Texas and spent her latter years with a wonderful group of new friends.

Martha is survived by her daughter Marie Monti and her husband Jim and two grandchildren Kristina and Jamie Monti and her beloved cat Bella.
