Martha Sue Austin

Martha Sue Austin was born on April 20,1935 in Dallas, Georgia to parents Wallace Beecher Thomas and Ruth Jeanette Thomas. Sue, as she was known to her family and friends, passed peacefully from this life into eternity on July 21, 2022, in Plano, Texas.

Sue was a loving wife to her husband Howard Haskell Austin (who passed away in 2019) for over 60 years. Sue was a wonderful mother to her three surviving children Thomas H. Austin of Gulfport, Mississippi, Susan J. Conrad (Walter) of Houston, Texas, and Joseph H. Austin (Michele) of Diamondhead, Mississippi. She is also survived by one grandchild, Andrew Conrad, of Houston, Texas.

In keeping with Sue’s wishes, she will be returned to her beloved Georgia where a graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 10:30 am at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Sue’s memory to The Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org .
