Maria Marin-Mora

On Tuesday, September 17, at 10:20 p.m., Maria Elena Marín Mora peacefully passed away due to natural causes.

Elena exemplified the roles of devoted wife, nurturing mother, supportive sister, and resilient fighter. As the youngest of seven siblings, including five brothers and one sister, she was married to Jose Gonzalez-Ramiro for three decades and raised three sons, with two surviving.

Elena's life was characterized by an unwavering pursuit of knowledge and understanding, fearlessly challenging ideas to form her own conclusions. She inspired others to emulate her love of learning. Ultimately, faith prevails over fear at life's end.
