Margaret Leidecker Weathersby

Margaret Leidecker Weathersby, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away on April 10, 2019, at the age of 73.

Margaret was born on March 22nd, 1946 in Longview, Texas and graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1964.  She met Bill Weathersby in 1972, while both were working in Dallas. They were married in 1974. Margaret stayed at home to raise her children and was an attentive and loving mother to them both.  She was Bill’s second-in-command as he ran his business. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her husband Bill, two children Jana Funderburk (Michael) and Scott Weathersby (Rebecca) and six grandchildren Gigi, Ruthie, and Luka Funderburk, Hattie, Maggie and Crawford Weathersby, and one brother, Gary Leidecker (Beverly.)  She is preceded in death by her mother Gladys Leidecker and her brothers Norman Leidecker and Donald Leidecker.

A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Church Plano located at 4550 Legacy Drive Plano, Texas on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Interment to follow at 1:15 P.M. at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, Texas.
