Marcus Devantre Williams was born a military brat and was fortunate enough to live in several states. He was born in Georgia in 1994 then moved to Nevada, South Carolina before settling in Texas. His travels have included Canada, California, Florida, New York and Jamaica.
Marcus entered the Allen school system in the second grade and continued on until his graduation from Allen High School in 2013. He went on to take classes at Collin County Community College.
Growing up he played an array of sports and was very active in the Boy Scouts. His interests included watching boxing matches with his father, history, movies, comedy shows and music. Marcus had a soft spot for animals and a very caring sweet soul. He despised racism and his close friends included people of different ethnicities. He cared about the environment and always made sure to recycle.
Marcus was a pleaser and always wanted to see people get along. He loved his family dearly and would often give hugs for no reason, and had no problem telling his loved ones how much he loved them. He was a sweet soul and will be missed tremendously.
Marcus will be cherished always by his father, retired Army Command Sergeant Major Melvin Williams, his mother Michelle Williams, his brother Michael Williams. And his maternal grandparents, Geneva and Errol Henry and paternal grandparents Diane Williams and Joseph Richardson. Along with his aunts, uncles, cousins and a special group of friends.
The family will celebrate Marcus' life at an Afternoon of Remembrance from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Allen Family Funeral Options.
