Lorraine G Bihm

August 22, 1953 — December 27, 2025

Plano, Texa

Lorraine G. Bihm, 72 went home to be with our Lord on Friday, December 26, 2025. Born Lorraine Frances Guidry on August 22,1953 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Warren and Evelyn Guidry. Lorraine lived in various locations in Texas and Louisiana where she raised two children, always surrounded by her cherished pets.

She graduated with honors from Vernon Regional Junior College in Wichita Falls, earning an associate’s degree in business administration while her husband served in the Air Force. After his military service, the family returned to Louisiana where she worked for several years at Westminster Christian Academy in Opelousas. As the school’s receptionist, she was affectionately known as “Ms. Lorraine”; as she brought joy and warmth to every student, faculty member and parent.

Later, Lorraine and her family moved to Plano, Texas, where she began a new chapter. She worked as a front desk receptionist at the Lennox Industries corporate office, greeting employees and visitors with the same warmth she was known for at Westminster Christian Academy. Upon her retirement, Lennox honored her with a grand retirement celebration.

Lorraine and her husband served together at New Life Brazilian Church of Plano for several years before her decline due to Alzheimer’s. She was an active member of the church choir, singing in Portuguese and helping her Brazilian friends with English. Even as her vocabulary diminished in the later stages of her illness, she often and clearly spoke her favorite word, “church”. Lorraine was a devout Christian, a devoted wife, a caring friend, and a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and neighbor.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 49 years, James R. “Randy” Bihm; son Thomas Gregory Caldwell of Broussard, Louisiana; daughter Rene’ Bihm Cerrato of Little Elm, Texas. She is also survived by son-in-law, Daniel Cerrato, and his loving father, Papa Carlos; as well as her grandchildren; Elizabeth “Lizzie” Rene Caldwell, Conlan Arthur Caldwell, CJ Joseph Meshell, Sebastian Daniel Cerrato, and Emilio Luis Cerrato. Her great-grandchildren Allisyn Claire Caldwell and Dillin James Leblanc Jr. Lorraine is also survived by her sister, Janice Laroussini, wife of Gordon “Donnie” Laroussini of Richmond Virginia and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents Warren Guidry and the former Evelyn Champagne, her brother Darrel Guidry; two sisters Catherine Guidry of Lafayette and Benita Pilcher Guidry of New Iberia.

Special thanks to the Harbor Hospice team who provided comfort, care and cheer. Lorraine cherished Latisha, Kelsey, Yonnie, Linda and Daymon all who held a special place in her heart.

She also had a deep appreciation for hospice volunteer Meital Dor and our beloved Brazilian missionaries Rafael, Samuel and Fernanda. Lorraine’s love extended to pastor Toninho, his wife Maisa and the fellowship of New Life Brazilian Church.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at New Life Brazilian Church 2109 W. Parker #720 Plano, Texas 75023.

Lorraine will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
