Linda L. Hinton

Linda Lucienne Hinton, age 71, passed away on September 3, 2019 in Plano, Texas.

Linda was born in Dallas, Texas, to Arnold and Bessie Vrocher on August 18, 1948.  The most prominent parts of her childhood were helping with the family’s various restaurant businesses, singing, and spending summers with her cousin, Debbie.  She graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1966.

She married in 1969 and later settled in Garland, Texas where she lived most of her adult life.  She had two loving children: Jon and Laura.  Her professional career included several years each with EDS and Ericsson.  She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, birdwatching, music, and family.

Linda is survived by her son, Jon and his wife, Heather, of Allen, Texas; daughter, Laura, of Seattle, Washington; and grandchildren, Preston and Felicity.  She is preceded in death by her father, Arnold and mother, Bessie.

The family will receive friends and family between 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2019, during a reception to celebrate Linda’s life at Allen Family Funeral Options.
