Lauren Ashley Pettitt

"Lauren Ashley Pettitt was born August 28, 1982, in Snellville, Georgia and passed away on February 10, 2024.

She was the daughter of Julie Theresa Pettitt Mahan (Anthony) and granddaughter of Leon Reed Pettitt (deceased) and Martha Joan Patty Pettitt. She is survived by daughter Allison Bailey Pettitt, and sisters Heather Renee Millett Santangelo (Nicholas) and Krysten Dawn Millett Rowland (Matthew) as well as several nieces, aunts and uncles.

Lauren was a member of Hunters Glen Baptist Church.  She also attended culinary classes at Collin County Community College.  Her passions were cooking, gardening and jewelry design.  She was a beautiful, intelligent soul who exhibited independence and exuberance in everything she did.  She loved and showed empathy towards others including animals, and had a remarkable ability to forgive no matter what the circumstances. She never held a grudge, and she always said, "I love you".  She was resilient, strong and courageous.  She had the ability to brighten up a room and kept her family laughing with her quick sense of humor.  She will always hold a special place in our hearts and will be deeply missed."
