Larry Wright

Larry Dale Wright age 66, passed away on April 17, 2020 at his home after a long hard-fought battle with cancer. A native Texan, Larry was born in Dallas on December 8, 1953, to H.O. & Wanda Sue Enloe Wright. He has a beloved big brother, James W. Wright.

Larry grew up in Richardson, Texas and was in the second graduating class from Berkner High School in 1973.   He grew up around airplanes, became a pilot and loved to fly. Larry worked at his father’s Cessna dealership, in Addison, TX in high school and after graduation.

Larry had a strong work ethic and forever remained loyal and honest to the ones he worked with. He started his sales career working at Krestmart Window company in 1975. Larry was funny, kind and never met a stranger. He continued in the window business where he would end his career working again for Krestmark.   Larry received a prestigious award from McCoy’s Building Supply, one accomplishment of which he was very proud.

Larry had a passion for sports, playing football, hockey and racing motorcycles in his younger days. He was an avid golfer and could frequently be found on the golf course surrounded by good friends.

Larry put his faith in Christ as a young man and was always a believer. He has been a member of Life Point Church since 1999 and loved his Pastor and church family.

Larry was a devoted husband, father, uncle, son and friend. He married Marcia Watkins on April 29. 1995. They were happily married and truly blessed for 25 years.

Larry is survived by his loving spouse, Marcia; son Justin Wright and wife Amy; stepson Marcus Watkins and brother Jim Wright. He has one grandchild, Violet and his second Eli Dale will soon be here.   He also loved his nieces and nephews and his life-long friends.

He is preceded in death by his father H.O. Wright, mother Wanda Sue Wright and his lovely sister-In-Law Suzan Wright.

A memorial service will be held in Larry’s honor on June 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm at LifePoint Church, 4501 Hedgecoxe Rd. Plano, Texas 75024
